With this scholarship, the mothers of the Reston Chapter continue the legacy of our beloved past President and 2001 Best of Reston honoree, Fran Robinson. Fran was a tireless public servant and civic leader who found so many ways to serve, including: facilitating education and awareness of breast cancer in African-American women; securing community partnerships to provide medical and dental care for children in Fairfax County; and reviewing college applications for friends and colleagues. She was a trailblazing advocate for children who believed that with care, love, exposure and opportunity, all of our children could be successful in life.  It is in this spirit that we proudly offer the Fran Robinson Memorial Scholarship.
